• Private Beta for Autosave has launched. If you are interested in trying out Autosave from within the editor, please fill out this form, and we will enroll you within 1 business day and send you the documentation.
• Added support for AJAX carts with BigCommerce and added helper text with a link to configuration docs.

What's new 

• Color Swatches are here! Simply toggle Color Swatches on your variant element to enhance the look of your product pages. Page Builder will automatically convert the variant names to their respective colors, and you can override the color values in the Advanced tab.
  
• BETA now available on the Advanced Plan With our Recharge Integration, you can now easily control your subscription plan elements right from Page Builder’s editor. Available now for Shopify merchants on our Advanced Plan. You can enable the integration in the Settings tab.

improvements

• When using the Add to Cart element with the 'Stay on Page' option, the cart icon in the header will now dynamically update to show the correct number of items in the cart, as items are added. To enable this for your store, please follow the steps in the Advanced Recommendation section here.
• In addition to being able to display variants with a dropdown, the Product Variant element now supports the ability to display variants as buttons.
  
• Loading your theme is a great way to visualize your page as you are building it out. For storefronts that are password protected, we have made it easier to input your Theme’s password directly from the Editor without needing to go through Settings.

fixes

• Fixed an issue where alignment controls were not working when a max-width was set on an image. This has been fixed.
• Fixed an issue where syncing a page with a global snippet did not work.
• Fixed an issue where the variant ID was not displaying in the URL when a variant was selected.
• Fixed an issue where element drag controls were not visible on Safari.
• Fixed an issue where right click copy/paste menu did not display within the text element.
• Fixed an issue where editing a Rich Text field within a custom element did not work.
• When Product Sync was enabled on the collection element, adding product elements within that collection element was resulting in an error. This has been fixed.

Some recent Enhancements:

• We redesigned our Rich Text Editing experience so it is easier to use

• When importing your product pages, we updated this step so it is more intuitive to understand your options

• Improved bulk publishing performance by supporting higher rate limits for Shopify Plus customers
• When select some pages during Bulk Publishing, we now show a more clear button state informing that some pages are selected
• When dragging anything on your canvas and decide you no longer want to drop that snippet or element, you can now press 'escape' to cancel that drop

And some fixes:

• Fixed an issue when Bulk Publishing where pages became unselected when loading more pages on the dashboard
• Fixed an issue where a product page would not load when reimporting a product via Shopify Admin
• Fixed an issue where it was possible to unpublish your homepage

Direct to checkout for your "Add to Cart" button

We have added more functionality to our "Add to Cart" element. You will see a third option that will automatically reload the customer's page directly in the checkout flow to allow you to add "Quick Buy" functionality to your pages.

Sold out Product Variant flexibility

We have added a control within the Product Variant element to change the behavior if a variant is sold out. The options are "Hidden", "Shown but not selectable" and "Shown and selectable". This will help you better control the customer experience.

Slider improvements

Our slider element has gone through a tune up with 28 slide transitions and the ability to customize the color of the arrow.  

Column element alignment improvement

We fixed a bug where adding a column element with 5 columns would result in uneven widths by default. Now when you drag in a column element, all widths will be equal. In addition to that, you can now reset column widths using the new "Reset column width" button.

Speed improvements to Product Gallery element

We have changed how images are loaded within the Product Gallery element. This will make your pages load faster and improve their web performance score. 

Other improvements

• Minor usability and accessibility improvements. 
• Global snippet bug fixes around syncing global snippet and duplicating pages with global snippets.

Bulk Publishing is here

Select and publish several pages you've updated and launch at one time from the Shogun dashboard. Combined with the Content Syncing feature, as part of the Advanced plan, you can quickly bulk publish your entire store in one click. Check out a quick demo:

Enhancements to Global Snippets

• You can now promote an existing snippet to be global
• Similarly, you can now demote a global snippet to a snippet
• Layout Panel now reflects the name of the global snippet
• Layout Panel now disables elements within a global snippet

Other improvements

Hi Page Builder Community - we are constantly improving Page Builder, here are some recent changes:

• The Block Library has moved to the left-hand navigation
• Added a link to the Block Library when opening the Layout Panel when no elements have been added to a page
• When editing a Global Snippet and you click outside of the global snippet, we will now display a prompt to ensure you do not accidentally lose your changes
• When you are previewing a template and click 'close', you will be dropped back in to the Template Library instead of the Dashboard
• Bug fix: we now allow users that are on a free Shopify plan to access our in-app Plans page
• Bug fix: updated some element controls on the toolbar in the editor

🚀 What's New

Global Snippets

• You can now take any snippet and deploy it across multiple pages, streamlining your workflows and ensuring that every corner of your store is up to date. Global Snippets are available as a Public Beta on the Page Builder Advanced Plan.

📈 Improvements

Layout Panel

• We’ve updated the Layout Panel to make it easier to navigate. It is now located on the left hand side of the editor for quick access. We have also added icons to denote each element type, and you can now find the name of each element underneath each section so you can easily locate them. You can even collapse your elements for a cleaner view!

Page Builder Sections for Shopify

Using Page Builder Sections for Shopify, you can create custom content sections to deploy in your Shopify 2.0 Theme, just like any other native theme section. You can add these styled sections to your Shopify Templates to control content across pages.

Page Builder for Shopify Hydrogen

You can now harness the drag-and-drop page creation you love from Shogun Page Builder and pair it with Shopify Hydrogen! Seamlessly integrate Shogun Page Builder with your Shopify Hydrogen tech stack by adding a single tag and your team can quickly build pages for your Hydrogen-powered store with Shogun’s page building elements!  

Saved Snippets Updates

Snippets are one of the most loved features in Page Builder and we added enhancements this year to make them even more powerful, including:

• Favorite any of your snippets
• Sort your snippets alphabetically or by creation date
• See a visual preview of your saved snippets to make them easier to identify
  
  

Coming Soon in 2023:

Global Snippets! Global Snippets is an upgrade of our current Snippets feature. You can now have your Snippets be Global Snippets so if you update a snippet it will be updated on all the pages that use that Global Snippet. No more manually updating your snippets across multiple pages. Feel confident with the peace of mind that every corner of your store is up to date with your latest changes!

We're excited to announce a brand new integration with Klaviyo!

Now you can leverage Shogun Page Builder - Form Elements and send form submission data automatically into a specific Klaviyo list.

How it works

1. Add your Klaviyo API key to Page Builder settings.
2. Choose Klaviyo (instead of email) as the destination of your form submissions.
3. Select the Klaviyo list you want to send data too (from a pre-populated list) :)

Note: In order to send form submission data to Klaviyo, your Form Box must contain a Form Text Input element (with type "email" selected).
