Hey all,
We've got a few items going out for release tomorrow.
SmarterProctoring
- There was an issue that would occur when viewing a students playback from their hybrid or automated session where an extra hour would be shown in the exam duration field, this issue has been fixed such that the correct duration will be shown in playback. Please note that this was not an issue with the actual duration of the exam and there was no way the student would have seen this issue. [PR-108]
- Salesforce support chat is now integrated and is ready to be flipped to when our support team would like that change to take place. We have things setup currently where Zendesk will remain in place until we flip the feature flag to turn Salesforce on, at which point the Salesforce support chat will replace Zendesk. We've also added the salesforce support chat into the Hybrid UI for Proctors, so once that is enabled proctors can reach out to support while in a hybrid room if needed. [PR-614]
- The engineering team has discovered a case where if two proctors were to leave the room at the exact same time (within the same second), then the room could potentially stay online. We have fixed this edge case such that the room will still go offline even if two proctors leave the room at the same time. [PR-659]
- Student notes have been missing from the onboarding experience since we moved to Onboarding 2.0. The student notes have been re-added and can be seen on the preparing for session page in onboarding, and the student can also view the notes at any time by checking the session tab (this is the 2nd tab that opens when you start an automated or hybrid session). - There was an issue with hybrid that resulted in students names not appearing for proctors when the students went through onboarding 2.0. This has been fixed and now onboarding 2.0 students names properly appear when being proctored through hybrid. [PR-638]
- We have added the utc/gmt offsets to our timezone list API endpoint, this will allow our partners such a RegisterBlast to match the timezones in our system to their own timezones more effectively.
- There is currently an issue when using the utility app where students will be unable to continue through onboarding because of Microsoft Teams being open. There is a process that can remain open after Teams is closed which makes it difficult for a student to continue through onboarding. As a result, we are making a change to check for "Microsoft Teams" as this will catch the application being open, but not get hung up on those extra processes that linger after closing the actual app. Please note this will only effect clients using the utility app. [PR-642]
