You can now automatically waterfall company domain, industry, funding round and over a dozen other company attributes across multiple data providers in just one click!

🎉 Big update to Scrape Website!

We now default remove all javascript, css, and images from the bodyText! This is an optional feature, so if you wanted to keep those elements in your scrape website action, you can still toggle it back on 🙂

• 🤔 How does it work? By default, only iframe data and text will remain in the bodyText result. You should now hit character size limits much less frequently! See our quick demo video below for an example. 

• 💡 What does this change? If you’re looking to only parse website text, you’ll get much cleaner results than before. Added bonus, you shouldn’t hit cell size limit issues as much when scraping large pages. We’ve trimmed the excess (code) fat from your scrapes to keep your kilns lean 💪🏽

We've added two new Datagma Integrations. You can use your Clay credits to run these integrations, providing phone numbers (18 credits) and work emails (2 credits). 

The cost of the phone numbers is high, but they are very high quality!

Gone are the days of manually mapping new columns from your integrations. 

After you’ve set your inputs for an integration, you’ll now see you’re then prompted to “Continue to Add Fields”.

This is a quick way you can preselect what columns you’d like created from an integration. 

Additionally, you can go to column settings and click “Edit Output Columns” to add more columns at one time! If you ever want to add more fields one by one with the old method, the option to map to table is still there as well (although we think you'll find the new way much easier).

Yup, we’ve got it! GPT-4 is now available in all of our Clay OpenAI integrations. This is a massive jump from GPT-3; to avoid regurgitating any of the info you’ve consumed already, we’ll just say that Clay’s capacity to implement AI personalization at scale has increased tenfold. Here’s a quick video of Eric explaining the update:

We recently released a new column type called Merge. This easily allows you to combine/waterfall data from different sources into a single column (without writing formulas!). The most common use case for this is emails, where you are getting emails from several different sources, and you want one column to combine them in a specific order.

This one is wild- we've created a way for you to converse with ChatGPT, at scale, for cheaper than it would be to use ChatGPT's API. This integration differs from our normal OpenAI integration because you can now have a back-and-forth conversation with OpenAI through Clay.

First, go to the Enrich tab on your Clay table and find the "Converse with ChatGPT" integration. You'll see a few prompts pop up on the right side of your screen- the first is asking how many messages you'd like to send back and forth via the conversation. This is essentially asking how many messages you want sent before an output is generated.

Then, it's time to go into the details of each message. You have to designate a role for each message you wish to send. There are three roles- system (this provides context for the role the AI is playing), user (you are the user), and assistant (examples of the output you want).

After filling out each of the dialogue prompts, click "Run" and watch as OpenAI provides you with an output at the end of your conversation. We hope this helps, feel free to reach out to us if you have any further questions, and happy prospecting!
