Export Recognition Report

We are excited to announce a new feature - the ability to export a recognition report!

Now you can export your Purchase Invoice recognition data into Excel (xlsx file) for easy analysis and reporting.

This is a great way to keep track of the Purchase Invoices that you are processing through Spindle Purchase Invoice Recognition. You can check their current status, the data that has been recognised and identify those invoices that have failed to post e.g. those missing Goods Received Notes.

Search for Approval Requests

Great news! Within Spindle Approvals, you can now find specific approval requests easily within the Requests list by searching for Purchase Invoice data e.g. 'Invoice Number' or 'Supplier Reference' to help speed up your approvals process.

Add Notes against Documents

To enhance your Spindle Purchase Invoice Recognition experience, we've introduced a new Notes area in the Document Portal.

You can now add important notes against a document you are processing. For example, you can log when you query an invoice so that your team members know not to post it.

For more information on how to use the new Notes feature, see this help article.

Option to Override GRN Check in Sage 200

We have now introduced the ability to override the Goods Received Note (GRN) check in Sage 200 when posting a Purchase Invoice.

If suitable to your business processes, you can disable the GRN check to allow your Purchase Invoices to post into Sage 200 even when the goods have not yet been received.

To learn more about this new option, please visit this help section.

Option to Override Discrepancy Status for Sage 200

We have now introduced the ability for Sage 200 customers to override the 'Discrepancy' status in the Document Portal.

If suitable to your business processes, you can disable the discrepancy check to allow your documents to post into Sage 200 without a discrepancy warning, saving you valuable processing time.

Learn more about using this new option in the Spindle Purchase Invoice Recognition help center.

Re-verify documents

Great news! We have now introduced the ability to re-verify documents that have either 'Failed to Post' or those that are flagged as having a 'Discrepancy', saving you time when processing your Purchase Invoices.

VAT Analysis for Sage 200

We are pleased to announce that VAT Codes will now be displayed in a new VAT Analysis tab when verifying a document.

This will enable you to see and update the VAT Codes for both 'Invoices with Purchase Orders' and 'Invoices without Purchase Orders'.

For more information regarding this new feature, please refer to this help article.

Buttons to Add and Delete Rows

Previously to Add or Delete a row you had to use the menu options or your keyboard shortcuts. Based on feedback from our users, we've now also added buttons to help with usability!

You will see these new options on the Line Items, Project Analysis and Nominal Analysis tabs when verifying a document.

As a result, you can now select and delete multiple rows to speed up processing times!
