Re-introduced Document Verification List

The Document Verification List displays all documents that are in ‘Verification Required’ status. You will see it appear after you have verified a document, making it quicker and easier for you to verify the "next" document without needing to return to the Document Portal.

Previously the Document Verification List (Job List) was only available to users that were on Spindle Document Management 10.3 and below. Following your feedback, we decided to re-introduce it for all our users!

Configure Nominal Data when using Project Analysis in Sage 200

We understand that no two businesses are the same, and as such, it is important to be able to configure your Nominal data to suit your specific needs.

We have therefore introduced a new setting so that you can configure how your default Nominal data is populated when using Project Analysis in Sage 200.

We hope this saves you time and effort when processing your invoices!

For more information on how to set this up, please visit this help article.

Support for businesses that are partially VAT exempt

We are pleased to announce that Spindle Purchase Invoice Recognition now supports businesses that are partially VAT exempt.

With the new functionality, you can configure your recoverable VAT percentage, as well as designate the relevant exemption VAT Codes.

This will allow Spindle Purchase Invoice Recognition to recalculate the revised VAT Amount quickly and accurately when processing your Purchase Invoices.

Project Analysis Data Automation

We've made it easier to enter Project Analysis information in Web Verify by auto-populating data for you.

On the Project Analysis tab, you will now see a new Insert & Autofill Row(s) button. We hope you find it useful!

For more information please visit this help article.

Additional validation on Line Item Quantity in Web Verify

We have now updated the validation rule on Line Item Quantity in Web Verify, so that if multiple Purchase Invoice lines match to a single Purchase Order line (same ‘Pos’), the Quantity will only be flagged if the total exceeds the Expected Quantity .

We hope you find this improvement helpful!

Restrict Document Permissions by Company

We're pleased to announce that you can now configure document permissions by Company.

By assigning users to specific companies, you can be sure that the data will be kept isolated, meaning users will only see Purchase Invoices for the companies that they have access to.

View & Set Rules on Line Item Data in Spindle Approvals

Great news! You can now set approval rules that compare line item data on a Purchase Invoice to the corresponding line item on the Purchase Order e.g. you can automatically send an invoice for approval if the line item quantity on the invoice exceeds the ordered quantity.

Additionally, when approving an invoice, you will have visibility of line item data from both the Purchase Invoice and the Purchase Order to help you identify discrepancies and aid your decision making.

This will help you ensure that all invoices are accurate and complete before approving them.
