The Maiden Stakes begins! Unraced Genesis participants and any unraced bred racehorses can participate to win a share of $81,000 USD.
Eligibility
Racehorses must be either:
- Unraced racehorses as of the beginning of the tournament (including Genesis)
- Bred during the tournament qualifying window
Details
- Fibonacci Scoring
- 12 racehorse free qualifying events
- Average of all scores with 5 races minimum required to qualify
- Top 3 Finals payout distribution
- 12 racehorse final rounds
- The finals will all run at the following distances: Sprinter: 1200m, Midrunner: 1800m, Marathoner: 2400m
- Prize Pool cutoff is April 10, 2023 to accommodate time for tournament structuring
Qualifying
Racehorses must race their Griffin race (first race) during the qualifying window
- As Griffin races are not segmented according to racehorse level, they do not count for qualification for both points or number of races run
- All qualifying races following the placement into the class system based on level will count towards qualification
- Qualifying races will be Class-Based Free 12 Racehorse Events
Number of rounds will vary by tournament size per distance category
- The size of each classes tournament will be announced the day before the tournament goes live

Class 1
The finals format for this tournament will be 1 bracket, 2 rounds with 12 racehorses per race and the top 4 racehorses advancing per round for a total of 36 qualifying racehorses per distance category.
Class 2
The finals format for this tournament will be 1 bracket, 4 rounds with 12 racehorses per race and the top 6 racehorses advancing per round for a total of 96 qualifying racehorses per distance category.
Class 3
The finals format for this tournament will be 1 bracket, 3 rounds with 12 racehorses per race and the top 6 racehorses advancing per round for a total of 48 qualifying racehorses per distance category.
Class 4
The finals format for this tournament will be 1 bracket, 2 rounds with 12 racehorses per race and the top 4 racehorses advancing per round for a total of 36 qualifying racehorses per distance category.
Class 5
The finals format for this tournament will be 1 bracket, 2 rounds with 12 racehorses per race and the top 4 racehorses advancing per round for a total of 36 qualifying racehorses per distance category.
Class 6
The finals format for this tournament will be 1 bracket, with 12 racehorses qualifying per distance category, racing in 1 final race.
