Fix issue with virtual joystick getting stuck
This no longer happens :)
The reset password button now works and you get error messages if you enter the wrong password :)
Thanks to all of the subscribers this time next week I will be working full time on Afterplay :) We're at 325 subscribers which is awesome and sometimes I can't believe it <3
I need to get to about 700 subscribers to cover my living expenses after tax and expenses but I can spend my savings for the next few months to get there.
Thank you all so much for your support. I really appreciate it and can't wait to improve Afterplay now that I'll have even more time to work on it :)
Thank you all for you patience with any bugs I write :) I should be able to fix them faster from now on.
Thanks for reporting. It was the emulators default key bindings being enabled along side afterplay's causing multiple inputs :/
This is can be useful to see if you're running the latest version to help with debugging. You can see the latest build number in the build room on discord.
Follow these steps
Cheats will be disabled for GBA for about the next week. Any cheats you have applied should still work. It's because I have to update the implementation as I switched from standalone mGBA to a retroarch core version.
The good news is that I will be implementing cheats in a way that they will work across all consoles and I will also be supplying a cheats database so you will be able to just select the cheats you want to use from a drop down. No more codes :)
iOS 16 stopped the GBA emulator from running. All the emulators except GBA were running as Retroarch cores. I decided this was a good time to switch from standalone mGBA to the Retroarch core as this ran well on iOS 16.
After this a few people were having issues running games. I couldn't reproduce the issue. It turned out people had uploaded their games in zip archives which Afterplay didn't support but the standalone mGBA build did so they would run.
I figured out that that was the problem and have added in zip support for all consoles.
I don't recommend using zip archives though as sometimes they can have multiple versions of a rom in an archive. In this case Afterplay will just run the first file.
You'll need to quit and open the app twice to get the new version :)
