Select Multiple Documents for Posting

To help speed up processing of your invoices, you can now select multiple documents when attempting to re-post Purchase Invoices that have either 'Failed to Post' or those that are flagged as having a 'Discrepancy'.

For instructions on how to re-post invoices, please see this help article.

Re-Verify Rejected Documents

We're pleased to announce that you can now re-verify documents that have been Rejected in Spindle Approvals, saving you time when processing your Purchase Invoices.

For more information on re-verifying documents, please visit the help center.

Improved line item matching

We’ve improved line item matching where multiple lines contain the same Quantity & Unit Price.

The image below shows an invoice that has two lines with the same Quantity & Unit Price. As these two lines also exist on the Purchase Order, Spindle Purchase Invoice Recognition is now able to populate the line item position (Pos column) automatically saving you time.

Buttons to Add and Delete Rows

Previously to Add or Delete a row you had to use the menu options or your keyboard shortcuts. Based on feedback from our users, we've now also added buttons to help with usability!

You will see these new options on the Line Items, Project Analysis and Nominal Analysis tabs when verifying a document.

As a result, you can now select and delete multiple rows to speed up processing times!

Page Navigation Made Easier

We've made it easier to navigate between pages by removing the left-hand panel and replacing it with a more commonly used page navigation control at the bottom right of each tab.

Closing a Document Made Easier

We’ve made a change to help with usability!

Previously, to close a document you were verifying, you would go to File > Cancel job to close the document safely and avoid locking it.

To make things simpler, you can now close the document by:

1. Clicking on the ‘x’ icon in the upper right corner of the browser (to close the browser)

2. Clicking on the ‘x’ icon on the browser tab (to close the Web Verify tab)

Search Opens in a Separate Dialog!

We've made a big change to the (F4) master data search to help with usability.

Previously, the search window would appear at the bottom of the screen. Feedback said it was taking up valuable space and made it difficult to see and navigate around the document.

Now when you open search (by pressing F4), it will appear in a new dialog which you can move around and position where it's convenient for you without it impacting your view of the document.

Document Toolbar Repositioned

Feedback from users suggested that the toolbar, which was positioned at the top of the screen, made it difficult to see and select text printed at the top of the document.

We've moved the toolbar to the left-hand side of the screen and made it collapsible, giving you full visibility of the document!
