We're excited to introduce a new feature to Instruqt: Gated Embeds.
With Gated Embeds, you can boost your lead generation efforts. This feature lets you capture leads directly from your marketing or documentation, by gating an embedded track. This lets you gather leads without navigating visitors away from your website to a Track Invite link. This improves the user experience and helps you track engagement accurately, connecting it to the campaigns bringing visitors to your site using embed events.
To create a gated embed, open the invite editor, select 'Embedded on my website' and select which track you wish to gate. Optionally, you can configure which fields to collect. As part of this release, we've also added the option to only accept business emails in the form configurator (works on both invite links and embeds).
After creating the gated embed, you configure the snippet just like regular embeds and integrate it on your website.
All set to start collecting leads!

Waiting for a cold-started track to load can be a frustrating experience for your users. While the Hot Start feature can help alleviate this issue, it may not always be a feasible solution. To help keep your users engaged while their track is loading, we're introducing two exciting updates:
For Invite and Kiosk mode plays, we've enhanced the waiting experience, even if the lab is not in focus.
First, the page title now mirrors the track's loading status:
Once the track is ready to start, a notification will be sent:
We have updated the public description field on track invites to support lists, links, and new lines using markdown. Additionally, the limit has been increased to 400 characters. This enables you to include additional information, such as instructions or a call-to-action (CTA), in your invites.
For more details on using track invites and leveraging these new capabilities, please consult our docs.
