Product updates: Introducing the new loading UX, scroll to section, and persistent feedback tab!

We’re excited to introduce updates that streamline learning and improve user engagement. Our new loading UX lets users dive into content without delays. The scroll to section feature simplifies navigation, guiding learners directly to relevant content. Plus, the persistent feedback tab enables users to share insights in the moment, improving feedback quality and relevance. These updates make learning smoother, faster, and more engaging—delivering immediate value to both learners and content creators.

Loading UX

Instruqt’s new loading UX transforms the learning experience by letting users dive into content without waiting for a lab to load. With real-time assignment previews and smooth lab transitions, users stay engaged while tracks load in the background, creating a frictionless journey from start to finish. This upgrade addresses one of our top customer requests, streamlining hands-on learning, improving user satisfaction, and delivering immediate value for both learners and content creators.

Key benefits:

  • Boost user engagement: Users start exploring right away, reducing potential disengagement or dropoff.
  • Minimizes redundant actions: Eliminates extra clicks to start challenges, simplifying navigation.
  • Better user flow: Integrates notes and lab previews, improving content relevancy.
  • Faster time to value: Reduces idle time, allowing users to focus more on core learning.
  • Immediate issue resolution: Offers a retry option if loading issues occur, preventing interruptions.

Scroll to section

Our new scroll to section feature empowers Instruqt users to reference specific sections in their assignments effortlessly, instantly guiding learners to the right information and enhancing their engagement with one click of a button or link.

Key benefits:

  • Streamlined navigation: Streamlines learning and reduces time spent on navigation.
  • Better user experience: Enhances user experience by providing quick access to relevant content.
  • Improves retention: Boosts engagement and learning retention by enabling a smooth assignment flow.

Persistent feedback tab

The persistent feedback tab feature improves the quality, immediacy, and relevance of feedback, creating both a better user experience and optimized lab design.

Key benefits:

  • Improved feedback quality: By enabling feedback during the lab, users are more likely to provide honest, immediate insights as they progress.
  • Reduced bias: Collecting feedback at any point of the track, reducing the “survivor bias” of end-of-lab-only feedback, and enabling feedback from a broader range of user experiences.
  • Increased user engagement: In-the-moment feedback fosters a sense of contribution and allows users to express their opinions as they arise.
