Bug in iOS 18.2

There seems to be a bug introduced in safari 18.2 that causes Afterplay to freeze after a minute or so of gameplay. We're working on a fix.

UPDATE as a quick fix for the weekend 18.2 users will use the non threaded builds of the emulators which fixes the issue. Multiplayer and Link Cable require threaded builds so this will be unavailable on iOS 18.2 until we find a fix :) I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

CHD Support for DS Games. Fixes file size limit.

We’ve added CHD compression for Nintendo DS games, reducing file sizes by up to 50% when you upload them. This saves storage and fixes the Safari iOS file size limit.

  • iOS 18 or later is required to add new games due to a threading bug in iOS 17. However, you can still add games on another platform and play them on iOS 17.
  • You can also compress your existing games by opening the context menu on a game card and scrolling to the bottom and clicking the icon to the left of the download icon. The Folder with a zip on it
