Meet the new Inverse and Traverse tools in Emlid Flow 360

The long-awaited coordinate geometry descriptions are now available in Emlid Flow 360.

Inverse tools allow you to calculate data of existing geometry, including distance, azimuth, perimeter, area, and more.

With Traverse tools, you can easily create new geometry with given distances, azimuths, and height differences.

No more calculations in third-party software. All data is accessible directly from the project in Emlid Flow 360, and everything you do is shown on the map.

Inverse and Traverse tools are available with the Survey Plan in Emlid Flow 360. Check it out with a free 30-day trial.

Stay tuned for the next updates in Emlid Flow 360 and Emlid Flow mobile app.

Understanding localization: how to define a local coordinate system by known points

Not sure how the localization feature can benefit your projects? Localization in Emlid Flow is handy when you need to survey a site without accurate coordinate system parameters, or with none at all. It can help you calculate or adjust local CS parameters and enable you to survey the area with high accuracy.

Check out our blog article to know what exactly localization is, how you can benefit from it, and how it works in Emlid Flow.

Emlid Reach RS3—new flagship GNSS receiver with tilt compensation

Meet our new flagship receiver—Reach RS3 with IMU tilt compensation. It’s engineered to give you survey-grade precision even at large tilt angles. Now you can work faster without checking the bubble. Easily survey hard-to-reach locations such as building corners, points on the roadway, or the edge of an excavation.

Use Reach RS3 as a base or a rover with LoRa radio and NTRIP Caster. Reach RS3 can also receive corrections on 450 MHz from bases with radios that transmit RTCM3 over TRIMTALK™ 450S.

Reach RS3 comes with a free 3-month subscription to the Emlid Flow Survey plan. So you can take full advantage of coding, linework, localization, and other advanced features.

Check out all the features and order Reach RS3.

How to apply base shift

Have you ever been in a situation where you couldn't place a base over a known point? With Emlid Flow, you can set it up nearby, measure the known point with the rover, and apply base shift to calculate the offset. Then you can continue surveying as if your base was over the known point. Watch our video tutorial for a detailed workflow.

Simplified access to your Reach receiver in a browser with the new Firmware 31

We have released the Reach Firmware 31 update. It simplifies access to your Reach receiver in a browser through Reach Panel. Take a closer look at the new features and give them a go.

Easily access your Reach in a browser

You can access your receiver in a browser by entering its IP address and view it through Reach Panel. This is a tool that allows you to check the state of the unit, download logs directly to your computer, and set the advanced configuration of the NMEA messages output. To do so, make sure that your Reach and mobile device/laptop are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
