New languages in Emlid Flow and Emlid Flow 360

Emlid Flow and Flow 360 now support Georgian, Danish, and Dutch languages.

In Emlid Flow 360, the interface automatically matches your browser language if it’s supported. You can also change the language anytime under your profile.

On mobile devices, Emlid Flow uses your device’s system language by default. To change it, go to your phone’s settings, find Emlid Flow in the app list, and select your preferred language.

To get the updates, don’t forget to update your Emlid Flow app to version 14.10 or later. If updates aren’t visible in Emlid Flow 360, try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache.

Photo attachments in Emlid Flow

As-built documentation just got easier with photo attachments in Emlid Flow!

With the latest Emlid Flow 14.11 version, you can now attach photos during point and line collection, point creation, and stakeout.

See exactly what was being measured. No more juggling a separate camera or trying to remember which photo belongs to which coordinate.

How it works:

  1. Start collecting, staking out, or creating a point in your project in Emlid Flow.
  2. Add a photo by tapping the camera icon—either take one directly in Emlid Flow or select an existing image from your gallery.

  3. Collect a point or save a staked point.

The photo will be saved as part of the point info and will also be synchronized with Emlid Flow 360.

Update your app to v14.11 today to get started!

Import localization parameters in JSON format in Emlid Flow 360

Importing localization files in JSON format is now available in EF360. This is especially useful for Austrian users who adopt localization parameters in this format from the Federal Office of Metrology and Surveying (BEV).

The workflow includes the following steps:

  1. Obtain localization parameters for your area.
  2. Import these localization parameters when creating a new project in Emlid Flow 360.
  3. Specify the projection and vertical datum.

That’s it! Your project data will be automatically synchronized with Emlid Flow, and you can start surveying.

You can learn more about the localization workflows in Emlid Flow in the Apply localization guide.

The feature is already available in Emlid Flow 360. If you don’t see it, try refreshing the page or clearing your cache.

Import localization parameters in Emlid Flow 360

You can now import localization parameters in DC/Cal format when setting up a coordinate system for your project in Emlid Flow 360.

This allows you to import existing site calibrations from third-party software directly into your project, with no need to manually recreate localization. Just quickly align GNSS coordinates with your local site grid and ensure consistency across field and office workflows.

To import localization parameters and apply them to your project, follow these steps:

  1. Go to flow360.emlid.com and create a project.
  2. In Project settings, edit the coordinate system.
  3. Click Import from file and upload your DC/Cal file.
  4. Review the parameters and apply them.

Learn more about this feature in the dedicated section of the Apply Localization guide.

Finish setting up your project. Once done, you can continue working with it in Emlid Flow.

Sunsetting firmware updates for Reach RS+ and M+

We’ve released the latest firmware update for the Reach M+ and Reach RS+ receivers. This 33 release cycle addresses the remaining known issues and marks the final firmware update for these devices.

Going forward, we’ll stop releasing new firmware updates for M+ and RS+.

What this means for you:

  • You can keep using your M+ and RS+ for surveying.
  • They will continue to work in the Emlid Flow app.
  • However, there will be no new features or performance improvements for these models.

The M+ and RS+ are single-frequency receivers, and the industry has largely moved toward modern multi-frequency devices. Deprecating firmware development for an older hardware platform gives us more efficiency for developing our multi-band receivers.

Thank you for being an early Emlid adopter and for your support over the years! It truly helps us build better products, and we invite you to get the most out of our current line-up.

If you have any questions about this change or want help choosing a newer receiver, email us at support@emlid.com. We’re always happy to help.

Partial export in Emlid Flow 360

In Emlid Flow 360, you can now filter project geometries by author, code, or solution, and group them by date to export only the data you need for further work in CAD or other software. This way, you can use filters, date grouping, or both to export only the required data from the project.

To do a partial export, filter the needed geometries and select them to access the export option.

Geometry export in Emlid Flow 360
You can also group geometries in the project by date to review daily progress or focus on objects added on a specific day.

Learn more about the partial export option in the Export projects guide.

Project folders in Emlid Flow and Flow 360

Meet folders in Emlid Flow and Emlid Flow 360 across all plans—they help you and your team organize projects more clearly within a workspace.

Folders make it easy to group projects by client, site, or team, separate ongoing and completed jobs, and keep your project list clean and easy to navigate.

Create and manage folders in Emlid Flow 360, which serves as your primary project management tool. In the mobile app, you have everything you need directly in the field—navigating the folders, assigning new projects to folders, and creating new projects in the existing folders.

Learn more about using folders in the Preparing workspace and Create and import project guides.

All modes for AR line stakeout in Emlid Flow

With the release of Emlid Flow 14.7, all AR stakeout modes for lines, polygons, and segments are now available for Reach RS4 Pro.

Here’s what’s now available:

Along line

Instead of simply guiding you to the line, this mode keeps you aligned and directs you forward or backward along it. This is especially useful when following a road centerline, pipeline route, or fence line.

By segments

Stake out individual segments along the selected line or polygon. The mode saves time when you need to work with a specific segment rather than stake out the entire line. It’s especially useful for verifying a specific section of a pipeline, replacing a damaged pile at a known segment, and inspecting construction progress segment by segment.

To line

This mode guides you to the nearest point on the selected line, helping you quickly align with boundaries, utility lines, or design axes.

By offset & intervals

Stake out points along a line, polygon, or segment at predefined intervals. You can also apply horizontal and vertical offsets to shift each point relative to the original geometry, making it easy to position parallel or elevated elements accurately. This is perfect for staking out trenches, foundations, or secondary utility lines.

To start using AR Stakeout with Reach RS4 Pro, make sure your receiver has a fixed solution and tilt compensation is enabled. Learn more about the modes in the Stake out lines guide in our documentation.

Emlid Flow deprecated support for iOS 15 and Android 7 versions

Starting from February 16, 2026, we’re no longer shipping Emlid Flow updates for Android 7 and iOS 15. Version 14.5 is the last available version for these OS versions.

As mobile platforms evolve, continuing support for older operating system versions becomes increasingly difficult and limits our ability to deliver new features, performance improvements, and security updates. Deprecating iOS 15 and Android 7 will allow us to maintain a stable, secure, and modern experience for the majority of users.

Please note that some devices currently running iOS 15 can be upgraded to iOS 16 or later, and some devices running Android 7 may support an upgrade to a newer Android version. If your device supports a newer OS, we strongly recommend updating to continue receiving app updates and full functionality.
