Much more powerful bots! (5 new features)
Hey everyone 😎 , the last few months, our team has been working hard on improving our bots, with the ambition of allowing you to build many of your use cases and workflows.
Today we are releasing not one but 5 features to just do that. These features work hand in hand and will allow you to create complex workflows that allow you to generate more leads and make happy customers a habit.
Proactive flows
Rasayel's chatbot has traditionally been used reactively, responding to incoming customer messages. However, we're enabling a paradigm shift: the bot can now initiate conversations proactively. This can be achieved through pre-designed templates within campaigns, individually via the inbox, or programmatically using our API, making the process of lead conversion and qualification faster and more efficient.
HTTP Requests
Rasayel's latest update enhances bot workflows, enabling a multitude of use-cases from CRM updates to real-time inventory checks. This feature facilitates secure GET and POST requests, allows parameters in GET requests, and lets you add variables to endpoint URLs. POST requests can further leverage flow variables and data attributes. A custom failure path ensures uninterrupted operation in case of request issues.
Customer Input Node
Our bot workflows now include a new feature called the "Customer Input" node. This functionality allows you to capture textual answers from customers without interrupting the chatbot flow. Its application extends across various use-cases such as gathering contact details for lead generation, identifying order numbers, and capturing appointments preferences.
Flow variables
We're introducing a significant enhancement across all features: flow variables. These are context-specific variables that exist within the boundaries of a single conversation flow. Unlike contact data attributes, flow variables cater to information that's pertinent only to the ongoing discussion. You can now employ these flow variables in messages, HTTP requests, save from customer reply nodes, and several other areas, offering more flexibility in handling conversation-specific data.
Simple messages
In response to user requests, we've added 'simple messages' to enable consecutive messaging. Unlike 'interactive messages' with buttons, these allow for streamlined, more natural conversation flows to engage even better your customers.
Template builder redesign
Using templates can be cumbersome and we know it. While we are working hard on making the experience much better at all level, we redesigned our template builder so it’s cleaner and easier to use.
