We’ve rolled out a set of small but impactful updates to make your day-to-day work smoother and more efficient:

🔧 Key Improvements

• Flexible Site Creation
  You can now configure whether the ‘Client’ field is mandatory when adding a new site. To use this go to Settings > Preferences > Sites > 'Customer on Site' dropdown and choose between 'Required' or 'Optional'.
• Quotes – New Status Filter
  A new filter lets you quickly find quotes in Draft, Sent, or Viewed status—making it easier to focus on the quotes that need your attention.
• Enhanced Site Panels
  A new search field has been added to the Site panels across all modules for faster navigation.

Bring more clarity to your workflow with brand-new visual options for Tasks in SitePad CRM.

You can now configure your task calendar with personalised colour schemes for incomplete and completed tasks. See the guidance below on how to update these options!

Head to Settings > Preferences > Tasks and adjust:

• Calendar Theme – iOS
• Calendar Theme – Popup Material
• Calendar Colour – Your Own Tasks (Incomplete / Complete)
• Calendar Colour – Other Users’ Tasks (Incomplete / Complete)

✨ This makes it easier to spot progress at a glance and tailor the calendar to match your style.

We’ve enhanced the Quotations module to make quoting Assets even more accurate.

• Automatic specification checklists: When quoting an Asset Category or specific Asset, any specifications you’ve set up will now display automatically in the quotation.

• Flexible setup:

  • Go to Settings > Syrinx Integration > Asset Categories.
  • Select an Asset Category or Asset.
  • You’ll now see 10 specification fields where you can add unique specs for that quotation.
• Override at Asset level: If you add specs at the Asset level, they’ll override the Asset Category specs when quoting that specific Asset.

This update ensures your quotations are more detailed and tailored to each Asset you provide.

We’ve refined how Hire Contracts are displayed in Clients / Sites to give you a clearer breakdown of contract statuses.

You’ll now see the following dedicated panels:

• Hire Contracts – Bookings (including Firm Bookings)
• Hire Contracts – On Hire
• Hire Contracts – Pending Final Invoice
• Hire Contracts – Closed or Cancelled

✨ This makes it easier to track contracts through each stage and quickly focus on what matters most.

Pro tip: If there are panels you don’t need, head to Settings > Screen Customisation > Select Module (e.g. Clients). From there, tap a panel and simply hide it from view.

We’ve made it easier than ever to find the information you need in SitePad CRM. Setup guidance below!

• Smarter defaults: All panes across all modules (e.g. Clients > Open Hires) now automatically sort by the most recent records first (descending).

• Customise your way: Want a different order? Head to Settings > Screen Customisation:

  1. Select the module from the dropdown (e.g. Clients).
  2. Tap the pane you’d like to adjust (e.g. Hire Contracts – Quotes).
  3. Update the Order by field and choose the Direction (Ascending or Descending).

This gives you more control and ensures the data you care about most is always at the top of your screen.

In Settings > Customisation, you can now add sortable columns for Last 12 Months Revenue and Year to Date. Quickly see and compare client value at a glance—making it easier to prioritise relationships and spot your top performers. 

You can now attach images to each asset type in Settings > Syrinx Integration > Asset Categories. When you select assets in a quotation, their photographs are automatically embedded—helping clients instantly see exactly what they’re getting and making your quotes more engaging and persuasive. 

We’ve rolled out powerful new search capabilities across all record types in SitePad CRM (Customers and Sites).

You can now quickly find what you need within the Hire Contract panes using the following fields:

• Hire Contract Number
• Order Number
• Machine/Asset Stock Number
• Machine/Asset Description
• Site Name

This improvement makes it faster and easier to locate the right contract details without endless scrolling—helping your team stay efficient and focused.

List views in SitePad are now fully customisable! In Preferences > Screen Customisation > Customise Columns, you can drag and drop to reorder columns, rename headings, and tailor your lists exactly how you want—giving you complete control and faster access to the information that matters most.

🔍 Intelligent De-Duplication
Our new de-duplicate tool uses phonetic matching to intelligently identify possible duplicate contacts—even when names aren’t spelled the same way. This means “Jon Smith” and “John Smyth” will be flagged as potential duplicates, helping you avoid messy records and missed opportunities.
