🪟 Microsoft SSO (Single Sign On) Launched
We’ve introduced new flexibility to Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) in SitePad, giving you more control over how authentication is managed within your organisation.
What’s New
You can now choose between two Microsoft OAuth configuration methods:
1. SitePad OAuth (Recommended for quick setup)
This option uses SitePad’s centrally managed Microsoft application.
- No Azure setup required
- Faster implementation
- Credentials are securely managed by SitePad
This is ideal for teams who want to enable Microsoft SSO quickly with minimal configuration.
2. Self App OAuth (Recommended for enterprise control)
This option allows you to connect your own Microsoft application via the Microsoft Azure Portal.
- Full control over permissions and security policies
- Supports enterprise compliance requirements
- Uses your own Client ID, Secret, and Tenant configuration
This is ideal for organisations with stricter IT governance or advanced security needs.
Why this matters
This update allows SitePad to better support both:
- Rapid deployments with minimal setup
- Enterprise environments requiring full control and compliance
⚠️ Please note: Microsoft SSO is a configurable feature. To enable it, you’ll need to contact the SitePad team to have it switched on and to discuss available pricing options.
