Default map view presets and project settings

Hi everyone!

We’ve shipped a couple of updates to Emlid Flow (v. 13.5) and Emlid Flow 360: you can now define default map view presets and project settings to spend less time configuring and more time surveying.

Default map previews

When you import CAD drawings, surface files, or add map layers in Emlid Flow 360, you can pick layers, surfaces, and drawings and adjust the layer’s opacity in Emlid Flow 360 and then save the resulting layout as the project’s default view.

Emlid Flow inherits the default view from Emlid Flow 360. You can adjust the view as required and then reset it to the default.

Default project settings

To streamline the setup of new projects, you can also define default project settings. In Workspace settings of Emlid Flow or Flow 360, choose your preferred linear and angular units, add code libraries, and set a coordinate system. New projects will automatically inherit these defaults. If needed, you can easily adjust them at any time to meet the specific needs of each project.
