Variables in the URL Buttons for Templates
Many of you asked us to allow adding variables in the URL button of templates. We listened ❤️ You can now create a single template with variables in the URL button that multiple agents can utilize, making it easier to share meeting links and collaborate effectively. For example, when creating the template, type the URL as below:
https://www.calendly.com/{agent-url}
Before you send out the template, fill in the variable as needed. For example:
https://www.calendly.com/niloofar-rasayel
Duplicate Chatbot Nodes
Some of you struggled to create complex bot flows without the ability to copy-paste nodes. Simply click on the node you’d like to copy to see its frame becomes blue. Press CTRL+C followed by CTRL+V to duplicate the node. We will make this feature even more accessible for all of you very soon.
Quick Menu
We made 2 valuable improvements to our search
- Searching contacts is now more efficient — Press
/
on your keyboard to search. We show you the phone number next to the contact name, but you can now also show other data you have on customers instead such as their email addresses. This will hopefully make your experience of searching for contacts even more efficient. - Press
D
to edit data attributes easily — Want to easily edit a data attribute? Go to the conversation. Press the shortcutD
on the conversation. Select the Data Attribute you want to edit and make the change you need.
Improvements
- Chatbot message editors now have a button to add emojis
- Take actions on multiple select conversations using the right click or quick command menu — This is especially useful to easily close or assign conversations.
- AI-generated template names consider existing ones — Some of you pointed out that template names were generated without taking into account the names of your already existing templates. This has been improved, AI will generate truly unique names so you can submit your template fast without meeting an error message.
- You’re now able to remove a footer you added to a bot interactive message.
Fixed
- Images in chatbot nodes aren’t borked anymore.
- http: Users find variable wrapping strange.
- If users delete a contact that was linked between Rasayel and HubSpot, we delete that link.
- When adding an emoji in the template body, the emoji is added where the cursor is rather than the end of the template.
- When users change the name of a contact, the new notifications from that contact appear with their custom name, or WhatsApp if no custom name is given.
- Conversation, snoozed and view counts get updated faster than before.
- Marking conversations as unread through the conversation context menu or dropdown menu works.
- Fixed the inability to download some incoming audio messages in Facebook Messenger
- Able to set “Close permanently” and tag conversation in a chatbot action on the same message.
- Templates with image headers will be accepted.
- Some profile photos of the users used to be invisible and are now visible.
- Disallows importing HubSpot list if there are no contacts in the list.
- Importing contacts in CSVs is faster now.
- It’s possible to delete the variable of a populated data attribute.
