Better Ways to Manage Your Projects
June 21, 2022
Today’s release makes it easier to edit your project settings and add users to projects. We introduced a new Edit Project window that puts all your project settings in one easy-to-find place, and we updated the Team tab to make adding and removing users more efficient.
What’s New
- When you’re in a project, click the gear icon next to the project name to open the Edit Project window. Here, you can access all your project settings, including your project title and any lifecycle policy or watermark settings.
- To build your project team, open the drawer on the right side of the page. The first tab — the Team tab — is now available whether you’re inside a project or on the Projects home page. Add users by clicking the blue button at the top of the tab, or click the options menu next to a user’s name to edit their role or remove them from a project altogether.
- You can make changes to your project without ever leaving the Projects home page. Just click the three-dots button on a project thumbnail and select either “Manage Team” or “Edit Project.”
Fixes
- If you’re in Administration and you reload the page, you now stay in Administration instead of getting redirected to Projects.
- We resolved a visual defect with the “X” button you click to close in-app messages from Shift.
