Fixes and Improvements for June 30th
June 30, 2022
This week, we released some minor design updates and resolved bugs impacting different parts of the app. Here is an overview of the changes:
- Search results are now loading properly whenever you use the search bar.
- When you tag a file, the tag now appears right away, without needing to reload the page.
- If you’re viewing a public Review Link without logging into Shift, we no longer include a link to the Feed at the top of the page.
- Background colors in the “Manage Project Team” window are now consistent with other windows throughout the app.
- The “Copy URL” feature is now working for projects, folders, and assets. Before, pasting and going to the URL would redirect you to the Projects home page, instead of the correct project, folder, or asset. (“Copy URL” is available in the Advanced menu when you right-click on a thumbnail.)
- In list view, you can no longer drag a versioned asset onto a non-versioned asset. You can only create a new version by dragging a non-versioned asset onto another non-versioned asset or by dragging a non-versioned asset onto a versioned asset.
- If a document has a thumbnail image, we now display it in the Collection Bin, instead of showing a generic document icon.
- When you add an email watermark to a public Review Link, the link URL is no longer copied automatically to your clipboard. In this workflow, you would share the link using the “Send Link” button, so there is no need to copy the link URL.
- When you sort folders by Title, folders that begin with lowercase letters are no longer sorted separately from folders that begin with uppercase letters.
- Shift accounts that migrated from Wiredrive now show the correct number of users, instead of showing one more user than the actual count.
