Upgraded Sharing and Link Editing
March 22nd, 2022
Today’s release brings key enhancements to Review Links, including on-demand watermarking, increased support for folder sharing, and a faster way to edit your links. We’ve also improved our video player controls.
What's New
- Simplified Sharing Window: We’ve redesigned the link sharing window and separated it into a "simple" and "advanced" view. This makes sharing easier and faster for most review scenarios while still giving access to additional settings in the advanced view. The new sharing window also includes a History tab that shows a list of all recipients of this link.
- On-Demand Watermarking: If your account has SafeStream enabled, you will now be able to watermark just the files in the review link. Watermarks will automatically be applied to all files including those in folders and sub-folders. This is perfect for sending one-off links with additional security. If you would like to try this feature, contact your customer success manager.
- Improved Folder Support: You can now share any combination of folders and files in a single Review Link. To start sharing, hold the Command key (on a Mac) or the Control key (on a PC) and click on all the folders and files you want to share. Then, click the paper airplane icon to open the Share window. You can also use the Collection Bin to gather all the items you want to share in one link.
- New “Sent Links” tab for faster link editing: You can now edit your Review Links without ever leaving Projects. From any project, click the arrow icon in the top left (next to the search bar) to open the left drawer. This contains your Project tree in the first tab and the new Sent Links tab in the second. Here, you can search for, expire, or edit your existing links. To add more content to a link, just click on the link and then drag files from your project into the Sent Links tab.
- Video player improvements: Our updated video player includes the option to play a video or audio file on a loop or auto-advance to the next one. We’ve also added buttons for going back or forward by five seconds, introduced a menu for adjusting your playback speed, and replaced the audio toggle with a volume slider.
