Use DISTRIBUTE to recognise measures from a start and end date in months. Here are some use cases when to use it:

• Distribute a contract value paid up-front based on two dates
• Allocate a total expense amount by two dates
• Distribute a total amount between two dates to calculate the amount that you’ll bill each month

Note: Set your forecast or budget formula to “Same as actuals” to propagate the formula to your model.

You can now quickly get the SUM and AVG from a range of cells. Try it out on any table!

You can now apply dimension filters to your spaces!

This release will allow you to display the variation between actuals and budget, or across two periods. 

To do so, create a new waterfall chart, and select the columns that you want to compare and the variables that are impacted (favorable and unfavorable).

You can now make your spaces static by preventing any content edition and data update. Go to the 3-dot contextual menu on the space and tap on 'Lock space'.

Once the space has been locked, you'll see a 'LOCKED' label on the top navigation of the space. If you want to apply changes, follow the same steps to unlock it.

We are excited to announce our integration with Sage Intacct

Abacum is now providing a top-tier integration with Sage Intacct, a cloud-based financial management platform that is used by a wide range of companies, from ****scale-ups to enterprises.

🛒  You can find our integration on the Sage Marketplace, and the setup is fast and easy, directly from the Sage platform.

Through our integration, Abacum can retrieve General Ledger and Trial Balance financial statements. Plus, for the General Ledger we also support your customized fields, making it easy for you to analyze your finances by segments across your entire business. 🔍

You can now print and download your spaces as PDF. 

You can either try ⌘/ctrl + P or go to the 3-dot contextual menu on the space and tap on 'Print and download'.

Setting up reports is now easier than ever!

We’re excited to announce the release of our new feature that allows you to quickly create multiple spaces using the business logic laying on your dimensions (e.g. by departments, countries, subsidiaries, etc).

And at the same time, you can decide if you want to automatically add content to these newly created spaces and filter the data that will be displayed.

Building reports in Abacum just got quicker! 

You can now duplicate the content of a parent space to its subspaces through the 3-dot contextual menu. This feature allows you to set up your reports faster by using the content you create at a parent space and duplicating that layout across its subspaces.
