✨ Now live: Maxio integration

We are excited to announce that Maxio integration is now available! 🎉 You can now sync your billing and revenue data seamlessly to drive your financial forecasts.

⚙️ How does it work?

To ensure maximum flexibility, we are launching it with three dedicated connection paths:

  • Maxio Reports: This connection pulls your pre-computed reports directly to Abacum.
  • Maxio SaaSOptics: This connection syncs raw data tables specifically from SaaSOptics.
  • Maxio Chargify: This connection syncs raw data tables specifically from Chargify.

To get started, navigate to the Integrations page, search for Maxio, and simply select the connection option that matches your specific data environment.

NetSuite bundle update (v1.6.6)- Action required ⚡

We’ve released important improvements to our NetSuite bundle that enhance control and compatibility when working with Saved Searches.

✨ What’s new

  • Choose whether to apply the consolidated exchange rate when importing Saved Search results.
  • Full support for Saved Searches referencing related (non-transaction line) entities, eliminating previous issues.

⚙️ How it works

When configuring a Saved Search in NetSuite, you’ll now see an option that determines how currency amounts are imported:

  • Yes – Disable consolidated rate: Imports amounts in local currency only.
  • No – Keep consolidated rate: Imports amounts translated with the consolidated exchange rate.

📦 Please update your bundle

These enhancements are available only in NetSuite bundle version 1.6.6 and above.
To ensure everything works correctly and to access the new capabilities, you must update your NetSuite bundle to the latest version.

Note: When updating to the new bundle version, any custom permissions previously added to the Abacum role will be removed. You’ll need to re-add those permissions after the update.

📁 Organize your models into sections

Managing a growing number of models can quickly become challenging, especially when they serve different use cases, teams, or data sources. Many users have requested a more intuitive way to keep their models organized.

That’s why we’re introducing the ability to group models into sections, just like you can already do with datasets.

✨ What’s new?

You can now organize your models into customizable sections or categories. This gives you greater flexibility and control over how you manage, and maintain your models according to your specific workflows and needs.

⚙️ How does it work?

  • From the models list, you can now create new sections to group your models effectively.
  • Rename or delete existing sections at any time.
  • Move and drag and drop models between sections to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

🔒 PGP encryption support for S3 bucket and SFTP connections

We’re excited to share that S3 bucket and SFTP connections now support PGP encryption. This ensures your sensitive data is transferred securely when importing it into the platform.

✨ What’s new

  • You can now enable PGP encryption when creating an S3 bucket or SFTP connection.
  • Your public encryption key is available directly on your connection card (click the info button after enabling PGP encryption setting).

⚙️ How it works

  • Toggle PGP encryption during your S3 or SFTP connection setup.
  • Copy your public keyfrom the connection card and use it to encrypt any files you upload to the S3 bucket or send via SFTP.
  • Once uploaded, we’ll automatically decrypt your files using our secure private key during the import process.

Once enabled, all data shared through this connection is securely encrypted.

Models: Quick section Expand/Collapse & Pin formulas

We’re excited to announce two small improvements designed to make your day-to-day workflows smoother:

Expand / Collapse all sections

Available in the Variables column menu (click the three-dot icon at the top of the column), this option lets you quickly expand or collapse all sections in your model. Spend less time navigating and more time focusing on what matters!

Pin formula columns

Found in the Formulas column menu (click the three-dot icon at the top of the column), this option keeps your formula columns visible as you scroll through your data.

We hope these updates help you work faster and smarter. Stay tuned for more improvements coming soon!

📅 Calendar-based month picking in your formulas

We’ve improved how to work with month-based modifiers in your formulas!

Before, autocomplete could be confusing. When typing statements like IF CurrentMonth IS Jan or Variable.Jan25, the suggestions weren't always helpful. You might have seen a vague "MONTH" suggestion or a few specific months, but it was hard to know what to type or see all available options.

✨ What’s new?

Now, selecting months is intuitive and visual. Instead of guessing, you can choose months from a new calendar selector within autocomplete. This makes building formulas faster and clearer.

You can easily pick:

  • Recurring [month] (e.g., Jan for any January).
  • Specific [month] [year] (e.g., Jan25 for January 2025).

⚙️ How does it work?

When typing a formula that requires a month modifier (e.g., after IF CurrentMonth IS, or as a property like Variable.), the autocomplete suggestions will now display the Recurring [month] / Specific [month] [year] options.

  • For recurring months: Select the month name (e.g., Jan). from the calendar This inserts the modifier for that month in any year (e.g., IF CurrentMonth IS Jan).
  • For specific months: Select the month name and the desired year from the calendar (e.g., Jan 2026). This inserts the specific modifier (e.g., Variable.Jan26 or IF CurrentMonth IS Jan26).

New in models: ISBLANK() for handling blank values

Quickly check for blank values in your model formulas to simplify conditional logic and ensure accurate results.

✨ What's new?
ISBLANK() is now available in models to help you identify blank values in your formulas. This makes conditional logic clearer and ensures blank entries are handled correctly.

⚙️ How it works
Use ISBLANK() within an IF-THEN-ELSE statement to check whether a variable is blank:

IF ISBLANK(VAR) THEN [Result if blank] ELSE [Result if not blank]
  • Returns TRUE if the variable has no value
  • Returns FALSE if the variable contains any value, including zero
