🎯 Introducing Goal Seek functionality

We are happy to introduce the first iteration of Goal Seek. This tool eliminates the need for manual "trial and error" adjustments – you define the target, and the system reverse-engineers the exact driver assumptions needed to get there.

In this release, Goal Seek focuses on helping you establish adimensional "base" values at the variable level. This allows you to set foundational assumptions that are mathematically calculated to hit your targets.

⚙️ How does it work?

  • Inverse calculation: Define a desired outcome and let the system determine the inputs while adhering to your defined Min/Max constraints.
  • Target configuration: Set specific numeric values against a defined time horizon for a specific variable and version.
  • Driver constraints & locking: You can explicitly define which drivers should be optimizable during the goal seek and which should remain "locked" (static) during the optimization process to ensure realistic outputs.
  • Sensitivity analysis: Identify your most powerful levers instantly with the sensitivity column, which uses partial derivatives to calculate the "rate of change" for every input.
  • Dependency diagram: An interactive map visualizes the mathematical relationship between drivers and the final goal, providing transparency into the calculation logic.
  • Excel export: Export all calculated optimization data to excel for using it into your models.
  • AI Agent integration: You can also access the Goal Seek via prompt within the AI Agent.
