Add role-based controls for strict CSP compliance
Give admins more control over high-permission Channel View features while supporting stricter security policies.
BlueConic now includes a new Custom Channel View permission that allows admins to control access to features that rely on Channel Views and Visual Pickers. When this permission is disabled for a role, users in that role lose access to features such as Dialogues previewing, the Simulator, and Visual Picker functionality in supported listeners and connections.
This update helps organizations enforce stricter Content Security Policy (CSP) requirements without restricting platform access for all users. Instead of an all-or-nothing approach, admins can now limit high-permission functionality to specific roles while keeping the rest of the platform available to broader teams.
Benefits:
- Control access to Channel View and Visual Picker functionality by role
- Support stricter CSP configurations for security-sensitive environments
- Reduce exposure to iframe and script-related security risks
- Preserve broader platform usability while limiting high-permission features
