Skip the login screen when you’re already signed in

Bookmarks and new tabs now take signed-in users straight into BlueConic.

Opening the BlueConic login page from a bookmark, a shared link, or a new browser tab used to show the sign-in form again, even with a valid session. Now the login page checks your session first. If you’re already signed in, it takes you straight into the app. If you’re not, the login form appears right away, as before.

Links to specific pages, like a Growth Play, already worked this way. The login page now matches them, so every way into BlueConic behaves the same.

Benefits:

  • Removes a redundant sign-in step for active users
  • Lands bookmarks and shared links where you expect
  • Keeps SSO, OAuth, and forced-login flows unchanged

Connect ChatGPT and Claude directly to your BlueConic tenant

Use browser sign-in to bring permission-scoped BlueConic data into your AI tools.

BlueConic’s Model Context Protocol, or MCP, server now supports direct connections from ChatGPT, Claude, VS Code, and Cursor through browser sign-in. An administrator configures the OAuth application and approved access, then you connect the AI tool to your tenant’s MCP address.

The connection runs as the BlueConic user who signs in, within their permissions and the application’s read scopes. The tenant MCP server provides read-only access, so your team brings BlueConic context into AI-assisted research without changing tenant configuration.

This reduces local setup and helps your team answer questions about customer data and configuration from the tools they already use. AI-tool settings and organization policies still govern connector availability.

Benefits

  • Connect supported AI tools without a local MCP process.
  • Use browser sign-in for per-user access.
  • Keep reads within user permissions and approved scopes.
  • Bring BlueConic context into existing research workflows.

Trace who created and changed your profile merge rules

Review creation and modification details to investigate profile merging more efficiently.

Profile merge rules now record when each rule was created and last modified, along with the users responsible. These details give your team more context when reviewing changes to profile merging.

Compare rule timing with imports and configuration changes to narrow an investigation. Knowing who made a change also helps you find the right person for follow-up, reducing time spent reconstructing configuration history.

Benefits

  • Identify when a merge rule was created or changed.
  • See who made the latest change.
  • Compare rule timing with data operations.
  • Shorten investigations into profile merging behavior.

Connect your AI agents to BlueConic

Connect your own AI agents to BlueConic through the Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocol. Search your tenant’s configuration and get Growth Play recommendations based on your goals and existing setup. Both agents provide read-only access and respect your configured permissions, helping your team bring BlueConic context into existing AI workflows.

This feature is available in private preview. Contact support to join the program or learn more.

Give teams Growth Play access without over-granting permissions

Growth Plays now validate permissions object by object, so users can work with only what they're responsible for.

Opening a Growth Play used to require management permission for every object type that might appear on the canvas, even if you only needed to manage one of them. A user responsible for Connections couldn't touch a Growth Play containing Segments unless they were also granted Segment permissions, forcing a choice between blocking access entirely or over-granting it.

Now permissions are checked per object. Anyone with the Growth Plays permission can open a play and see the full canvas: every node and relationship stays visible, so nothing looks broken or incomplete. Creating, editing, or deleting a specific object still requires permission for that object type; actions for object types you can't manage are hidden or disabled, and clicking one shows a clear permission message instead of an error.

Benefits:

  • Opens Growth Plays to focused roles without requiring broad admin permissions
  • Keeps the full canvas visible so context is never hidden, even for object types you can't edit
  • Blocks edits to unauthorized object types automatically, with a clear message instead of an error
  • Supports least-privilege access for teams where different people own different parts of a Growth Play

Add role-based controls for strict CSP compliance

Give admins more control over high-permission Channel View features while supporting stricter security policies.

BlueConic now includes a new Custom Channel View permission that allows admins to control access to features that rely on Channel Views and Visual Pickers. When this permission is disabled for a role, users in that role lose access to features such as Dialogues previewing, the Simulator, and Visual Picker functionality in supported listeners and connections.

This update helps organizations enforce stricter Content Security Policy (CSP) requirements without restricting platform access for all users. Instead of an all-or-nothing approach, admins can now limit high-permission functionality to specific roles while keeping the rest of the platform available to broader teams.

Benefits:

  • Control access to Channel View and Visual Picker functionality by role
  • Support stricter CSP configurations for security-sensitive environments
  • Reduce exposure to iframe and script-related security risks
  • Preserve broader platform usability while limiting high-permission features

Automate user access management end-to-end with SCIM provisioning

BlueConic now supports SCIM 2.0, letting enterprise teams automate user lifecycle management directly from their Identity Provider.

Managing user access in large organizations means a lot of manual work — creating accounts, assigning roles, granting domain access, and remembering to deactivate users when they leave. Every step is an opportunity for access to drift out of sync with your identity governance policies.

SCIM 2.0 integration changes that. Connect BlueConic to your Identity Provider (Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, or OneLogin), and provisioning happens automatically. New hires get access from day one. Role changes propagate immediately. Departing employees are deactivated without anyone needing to file a request. BlueConic becomes just another system your IdP governs — not a separate workflow your admins have to maintain.

Benefits:

  • Eliminates manual user creation, updates, and deactivation workflows
  • Keeps access aligned with company identity governance policies, reducing security and compliance risk
  • Supports automated takeover of existing BlueConic users, converting them to IdP-managed accounts
  • Verified compatibility with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and OneLogin

Control who can access, edit, and manage your data workflows

Define exactly who can create, edit, and manage connections and notebooks — with granular, role-based control.

Managing data access just got more precise. With role-based access control (RBAC) for Connections and Notebooks, teams can now define who can create, edit, and manage specific plugins and individual instances. Instead of broad, all-or-nothing permissions, you can tailor access based on roles — aligning responsibilities with the right level of control.

This update introduces multi-level permissions across object, plugin, and instance levels. Admins can control which types of connections and notebooks users can work with, while also restricting access to specific configurations. This means data ingestion and transformation workflows stay protected, without slowing down activation.

Marketers and other teams can still move fast — but within clearly defined boundaries that protect data integrity.

Benefits:
• Strengthen data governance with granular, role-based permissions
• Reduce risk by limiting access to critical data workflows and configurations
• Enable safe delegation across teams without compromising data integrity
• Accelerate operations by aligning access with real user responsibilities

CDP-XP Unified UI & Single Sign-On

Move seamlessly between CDP and Experiences — no second login required.

The BlueConic CDP and Experiences (XP) platforms are powerful together, but operating them as separate systems with separate logins created unnecessary friction. Finding and launching experiences from within the CDP required context-switching that slowed execution. The CDP-XP Unified UI changes that. Users with a configured XP connection can now access Experiences directly from the CDP UI in a single click.

Existing XP users are automatically recognized and routed to Experiences immediately. New XP users are provisioned on first access — no manual setup required. And users can move freely between CDP and XP without reauthentication. This unified foundation enables true two-way CDP-XP integration and sets the stage for future workflows where experience creation, management, and optimization happen seamlessly within AI-driven canvases and growth plays.

Benefits:

  • Eliminates friction from managing separate logins and disconnected platform workflows
  • Accelerates execution by making Experiences immediately accessible from the CDP
  • Exposes XP capabilities to CDP users who may not have discovered them otherwise
  • Lays the foundation for future unified, AI-assisted growth workflows across CDP and XP

Next Best Action for Dialogues

Automatically select the right experience for every visitor — across all your Dialogues.

BlueConic has long supported optimization within a single Dialogue by selecting the best-performing variant. But which Dialogue to show in the first place? That decision has historically relied on static rules, manual setup, or custom notebooks. Next Best Action (NBA) for Dialogues changes the equation entirely. An AI agent now evaluates multiple Dialogues — each with their own variants — and selects the specific experience most likely to maximize a defined goal, like conversion rate or revenue, for each individual visitor in real time.

The agent monitors outcomes, learns from previous decisions, and continuously refines its logic without manual intervention. Configuration happens through a Notebook, where users define their optimization goal, choose which Dialogues to include, and specify profile properties for prediction. The result is a decisioning layer that moves beyond variant testing into intelligent, cross-Dialogue orchestration — making every customer interaction smarter.

Benefits:

  • Optimizes across Dialogues, not just within a single message variation
  • Increases revenue by automatically prioritizing high-value experiences per visitor
  • Continuously learns and improves without requiring manual rule updates
  • Fully integrated into BlueConic's existing Dialogue system
