Configurable Visibility for Dialogue Positions to prevent Flickering Issues
You now have control over whether a Dialogue Position is automatically hidden, while BlueConic determines whether to show a Dialogue. A new “Hide position” toggle in each position’s settings allows you to reduce flickering for users who aren’t targeted by Dialogues.
This enhancement improves the experience for all users—especially on pages where Dialogues are rarely shown:
- Previously, Dialogue Positions were hidden by default while the platform determined whether to display a Dialogue. This often led to visible flicker that disrupted the page experience.
- Now you can disable automatic hiding, preventing unnecessary visual disruptions and enabling smoother page interactions—particularly valuable for performance-sensitive sites and high-value customers.
