Performance Improvements & SolrJ Upgrade to 9.3.0
Stronger foundations for faster, more reliable customer data operations.
BlueConic has upgraded SolrJ to version 9.3.0, aligning the platform with current Solr standards and ensuring long-term compatibility and support. Alongside the version upgrade, several targeted performance improvements have been shipped: the filter query cache for background tasks has been disabled to reduce memory usage and improve stability, profile tab query performance has been improved for faster loading, and the use of startIndex has been deprecated to prevent memory issues at scale.
The result is a more stable, responsive platform for teams running large-scale customer data operations.
Benefits:
- Improves system stability and reduces risk of memory-related performance issues
- Speeds up profile tab loading for faster day-to-day workflows
- Ensures long-term platform compatibility with current Solr standards
- Reduces memory usage during background tasks for more consistent platform performance
