We are excited to announce our latest release for enterprise user management, user groups and SSO assignments. With user groups, you can now configure a group that contains one or more scoped views which then map to a list of users. This reduces the time it takes to configure new users in Ternary. If you are using SSO, you can configure groups to be assigned using the data shared upon logging in to Ternary. We are pleased to announce our latest addition to the Ternary Reporting Engine, Time-Period Comparisons! You can now quickly compare metrics using our provided date options or specify a custom date. Comparison reports show a solid color for the current time period and a dashed line for the previous period. In the table data, you have a column for each date with the delta amount and percentage change in the bottom row. More details found on the time period comparison documents page.

Today, we have added a new button to Ternary's reporting engine. It is called the "Run Report" button which allows you to customize your measures, groupings and filters before requesting the results. Previously, the reporting engine would run a query with each change made to the report, which could cause a delay when selecting multiple groupings. You will see this button after the "Filters" selection option when configuring your reports. 

We’re excited to share that Ternary now supports Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Alibaba Cloud. With this update, Ternary extends support to five major cloud service providers, enabling even more flexibility for teams managing multi-cloud environments.

We are thrilled to announce our latest feature designed specifically for Snowflake users. Our platform now provides detailed Snowflake Billing Data and Warehouse Insights to give you a comprehensive understanding of your usage and costs.

With this feature, you can gain a granular view of your Snowflake expenses, helping you track and manage your costs more effectively. Complementing the billing data, our Warehouse Insights feature offers deep analytics of your Snowflake warehouse operations, providing actionable insights for better decision-making and optimization. Organizations are now able to manage AWS Savings Plans and Reserved Instances for services like EC2, Fargate, and Lambda. 

Each recommendation includes the details to help you make the purchase decision, such as, the upfront expense, expected utilization, estimated savings, and return on investment.

By default (with the necessary permissions implemented), Ternary displays the recommendations with the least risk and provides users the ability to alter configurations (e.g. commitment type, contract length, payment model) best suited to your strategy and needs.
