We're excited to announce some key improvements to the Anomalies and Savings views within your MSP Dashboard that will enhance your data analysis experience:

• Replaced pie chart with KPIs: We’ve removed the pie chart and replaced it with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for a clearer, more actionable view of your data.
• Tenant filter now affects KPIs: You can now filter the KPI numbers directly using the tenant filter, making it easier to focus on the specific data points that matter to you.

Specifically for the Savings view, we have also placed both optimization tables side by side, allowing for quicker insights.

We have enhanced your ability to analyze EBS costs within our Resource Utilization Insights. You can now see EBS cost chart data organized by usage account, giving you a more granular view of your cost distribution.

We’ve rolled out some exciting updates to improve the Ternary Case Management workflow!

• Case type filter: You can now filter cases by type—Investigation, Optimization, and Task—to streamline case management and easily find what you need.
• Clickable case rows: Quickly access case details by simply clicking on a case row for a more efficient navigation experience.

This week, we’re excited to introduce a new, smoother user experience for both custom and compare date range selectors. This enhancement will make it easier for you to navigate and select date ranges, allowing for quicker and more efficient report comparisons.

We will be moving invoice dates from its own button into the custom date range selector. Now, you will be able to view your reports by Fixed, Rolling, or Invoice dates—all from one selector. Additionally, the compare toggle was previously used for percentage or value deltas from the previous period. Now, you will be able to compare across a custom date range.

Ternary Case Management empowers you to effortlessly create cases for tracking investigations, optimizations, or tasks. You can also link a case to Jira for enhanced collaboration with your engineering team. Previously found in the menu under your profile icon, Ternary Case Management is now easily accessible from the primary left-hand navigation. This change allows you to quickly view all submitted cases, streamlining your workflow and enhancing your overall experience.

Global tenant filter

Navigate the MSP Dashboard with ease using our new global tenant filter, which allows you to set a filter by child tenant(s) across all views. With this enhancement, your tenant selection will seamlessly follow you as you explore each of the five dashboard views, streamlining your workflow and improving efficiency.

Savings improvements

Within the Savings view, we have released improvements for both usage and rate recommendations. 

Usage optimizations

• Enhanced visibility: We’ve added a cloud provider column within the table, allowing you to easily identify and assess usage across different providers.
• Advanced filtering: You can now filter the optimizations by provider and service, enabling more precise insights into your usage patterns and potential savings.

Rate optimizations

• Expanded support: We’ve introduced support for Azure, broadening your options for rate comparisons across all three leading providers. 
• Advanced filtering: With new filtering capabilities for term and commitment type columns, you can quickly find the most relevant rate optimization recommendations for your analysis.
• Provider-specific naming: The commitment type column now features provider-specific naming, making it easier to understand and select the right options for your client. Example: Savings Plan (Azure).

Now, when you hover over a data point, tooltips will display information exclusively for that specific data point. This targeted approach ensures you get the most relevant insights quickly and easily. We’re excited to unveil a powerful update to Ternary Reports this week! You’ll now see meters above the charts displaying totals for each selected measure, allowing for a quick assessment of key metrics at a glance. Our new meter comparison mode lets you toggle between percentages and unit changes, providing the flexibility to analyze data in the way that best suits your business. Plus, clicking on individual meters now serves as a quick filter for your charts, enabling effortless dives into specific metrics.
