We’re pleased to announce new enhancements to the MSP Dashboard, aimed at improving how you access key information across all customers and clouds.

Key enhancements:

• Enriched reporting: Within the Reporting view, the Monthly Trends table now includes a visual indicator for Month-over-Month (MoM) Delta %. This allows for quick identification of spending changes, with red up arrows indicating increasing spend and green down arrows for decreasing spend.
• Updated terminology: The Alerts view has been renamed to "Anomalies" for better alignment with its functionality.
• Improved filtering: Within the Clouds view, you can now filter the data status by provider (e.g., Amazon, Azure, Google, etc.), allowing for more focused analysis.

We’re pleased to introduce updates to the MSP Billing Rules Engine, which allow you to streamline billing operations with greater flexibility.

Key enhancements: 

• Improved filtering: The Billing Rules Engine table now lets you filter rules by all tenants or specific tenants, simplifying the management of billing configurations.
• Tenant count visibility: A new column in the Billing Rules Engine table shows the number of tenants each rule applies to, providing clearer insights into rule usage.

We have enhanced our reporting capabilities by allowing you to adjust column widths in time-series tables. You can now drag the columns to your preferred width for improved visibility. By double-clicking on a column, it will automatically revert to its original width.

We’re pleased to announce that you can now create email subscriptions for any dashboard within your tenant. To access the subscription UI, click into a dashboard and select “...” in the upper right corner. You can then create subscriptions for both Ternary users and people without platform access by entering their email addresses. Choose the frequency (daily, weekly, monthly) and specify the time for sending emails. Multiple subscriptions can be set up for the same dashboard.

We’re excited to introduce an enhancement to our anomaly detection feature that simplifies root cause investigations. The new “Investigate” button in the Alert window directs you to a detailed report in the Ternary Reporting Engine based on the anomaly's timestamp. You can refine the report using groupings and filters to more accurately isolate the root cause.

We’re excited to announce support for additional AWS commitment discounts! 

With this release, Ternary now offers Reserved Instance purchasing recommendations for Amazon ElastiCache, MemoryDB, OpenSearch, Redshift, and RDS. This expands our existing support for EC2 Reserved Instances and Savings Plans for Compute, EC2, and SageMaker. 

We’re excited to announce support for additional Microsoft Azure commitment discounts!

Previously, Ternary provided purchase recommendations only for Microsoft Azure Reserved Virtual Machine Instances and Azure Savings Plans for Compute. With this release, we’re introducing support for Azure App Service, Azure Cache for Redis, Block Blob, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

Ternary can now surface Google BigQuery cluster and partition recommendations for improved cost efficiency and performance. To take advantage of this enhancement, please update your Ternary Custom Role permissions to the latest version.

We have updated the forecasting engine to allow you to set the lookback range from 30 to 180 days of historical data directly from the Ternary UI. This new dropdown can be found in the selection bar next to measures and groupings. Changes to the lookback range will reload data in the forecasting meters, chart, and table. Additionally, the chart now includes a new filter option to view data either from the current month or across the entire lookback range.
