The MSP Billing Rules Engine now includes a powerful new rule type: Target Margin. Managed Service Providers (MSPs) can use this feature to automatically adjust end-user costs based on a desired margin target for one, multiple, or all child tenant environments.

With the Target Margin rule, MSPs can set a specific margin percentage, and Ternary will automatically adjust the pricing and costs to meet the target—whether it’s applied to costs or credits. This gives you greater flexibility and control over pricing while ensuring your margins are optimized across your entire customer portfolio.

We’ve improved the MSP Dashboard to make anomaly tracking easier and more efficient. Instead of separate rows for each anomaly, anomalies are now aggregated by tenant, providing a cleaner, more intuitive view.

What’s new:

• Summarized view. View all anomalies for a tenant in a single row.
• Delta range. See the range of delta values for anomalies across each tenant.
• Expandable rows. Click to drill deeper into detailed anomaly information.

We’ve revamped the process for configuring new cloud integrations or updating existing ones in Ternary. The previous modal-based interface has been replaced with a more intuitive and streamlined experience.

What’s new:

• Dedicated configuration pages. Each integration now has its own focused page for a cleaner, more streamlined setup and update process.
• Step-by-step progression. Our new stepper component guides you through required and optional fields in a logical, linear flow.
• Clarity and simplicity. Easily distinguish between mandatory and optional fields for quicker setup.

With this self-service workflow, you can quickly create or update shared integrations in just a few clicks.

We’ve streamlined the MSP Dashboard Savings view! Previously, each usage and rate optimization recommendation appeared as a separate row for every tenant. With this new update, we’ve restructured the layout to aggregate recommendations by tenant, providing you with a cleaner, more streamlined view.

Based on your feedback, we’ve renamed Cost Reports to Cost Summary in the Ternary Reporting Engine. This change helps clarify the distinction between viewing the out-of-the-box cost and credit breakdown and creating custom reports, while preserving the same powerful functionality.

With Cost Summary, you can continue to view detailed breakdowns of total costs and credits across a selected date range, with the option to group data by ProjectID, application, business unit, environment, and more.

1. Add to dashboard

You can now easily add a budget to your dashboard directly from the budgets page without needing to navigate into your dashboard first. This enhancement saves you time and simplifies the workflow, making budget tracking more seamless than ever.

2. Current Month tooltip with alert levels

Gain deeper insights with our new alert levels in the Current Month tooltip. This feature provides instant context on your budget status. It's a quick way to track progress and take action before small issues become big problems.

We're excited to announce some key improvements to the Anomalies and Savings views within your MSP Dashboard that will enhance your data analysis experience:

• Replaced pie chart with KPIs: We’ve removed the pie chart and replaced it with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for a clearer, more actionable view of your data.
• Tenant filter now affects KPIs: You can now filter the KPI numbers directly using the tenant filter, making it easier to focus on the specific data points that matter to you.

Specifically for the Savings view, we have also placed both optimization tables side by side, allowing for quicker insights.
