Updates to GCP Committed Spend Manager
We have made several enhancements to our GCP Committed Use Discount (CUD) capabilities. First, the Committed Spend Manager now reflects an updated chart style to better align with the rest of the platform. Within this chart, users can now select a custom data range when planning for CUDs within a 30-day timeframe.
Additionally, we have introduced two types of warnings:
- Ternary will now warn users if spend-based CUD recommendations are not current due to an interruption in data being supplied by Google Cloud.
- For resource-based CUDS only, there is now a warning that indicates when there is a conflicting rightsizing recommendation to a given CUD recommendation. The warning icon links to the corresponding Insights page for further investigation. You can see the warning in the Recommendations table of the Committed Spend Manager, as well as the recommendation modal.
